How to Cook Christmas Lunch

Join me in my Wimbledon kitchen where I demonstrate how to prepare a traditional Christmas Day feast, and how to get it all on the table at the same time with minimal effort and washing up. You will take home all the notes you need to help you recreate the menu, including a time-plan and shopping lists. Christmas lunch and refreshments will be provided.
I cover:
how to prepare and cook turkey to maximise flavour and prevent dryness
a delicious turkey alternative for vegan guests
how to achieve the perfect roast potatoes
how to make stuffing, bread sauce, gravy and cranberry sauce from scratch
how to make delicious red cabbage, parsnips and sprouts
a couple of easy but stylish starters
some traditional and non-traditional puddings, including gluten-free and dairy-free options
I will be using the best sustainable produce available at the time of shopping. Turkey will be a responsibly raised native breed, eg Norfolk Bronze; all pork will be free-range and/or organic; all vegetables will be British and if possible organic; cooking fats will be extra virgin olive oil, goose fat and organic butter; cheese and bread will be from British artisan producers; fish and shellfish if used will be from sustainable sources. Please note: roast potatoes and parsnips will be cooked in goose fat. I will endeavour to take into account special dietary requirements where possible, but will be handling a number of the most common allergens on the day including nuts and dairy.
